Introduction
The real purpose of audience feedback is to make sure our target audience has their say on the final product that has been produced. Also by getting more and more people to view our final pieces we get an opinion on our final pieces for both the good and bad points.
To give us a clear guideline when carrying out our production process, we asked our potential target audience a few questions. Now that our three media products which are film poster, magazine front cover and trailer are completed it is important to carry out another audience research to ensure we met our target market requirements. Our target audience are aged 16+ therefore we will be conducting the research using various type of media.

Below are our three media products:
Teaser Trailer
Poster:
Film posters have been used since the earliest public exhibitions of film. They began as outside playcards listing the films shown inside the movie theatre. By the early 1900s film posters featured illustrations of a film scene or the theme of the film represented in a variety of artistic styles. A film poster is created to advertise the film which contains the film title, the names of the actors, directors and release date. Carrie is an existing horror film which has a similar concept
to our trailer, hence why it was used for influence when creating our own
poster. We really liked the main image on the poster as it portrayed a split
personality of good and evil which is an important element in our film. The
demon in our trailer is an iconic figure, hence the reason we were drawn to the
sinister film poster due to the effect of the demons face within the blood on
the wall.

Class Feedback
Torturing Eyes Production thought the poster is simple yet effective. They thought the image featured are strong. However the image should have showed the body as it looks like a floating head. The 10/10 rate is unrealistic it should be reduced. The name of the main cast 'Karen Herrera' should be made smaller as it overpowers the image.

From the pre-production audience research the chosen colour scheme for our poster was red and black. However we were a bit reluctant to use this colour scheme as it was a very common colour scheme associated with horror. However from the feedback we received 98% of our target market are attracted to our poster due to the colour scheme. We were not sure about our tag-line 'innocent is lost, evil is found' and only 85% of the feedback we received thought the tag line was catch and linked with the sub-genre. The 15% thought it was memorable but just not catchy. From the feedback we received 98% the character was the first convention they noticed on the poster because of the colour used and the shot used is effective.Base on the poster 95% said they will go and watch the film at the cinema because of the poster.
Magazine Front Cover
A horror magazine publishes horror fiction with the main purpose of scaring or frightening the reader. Horror bound magazine was our influence when creating our own horror front cover magazine. We liked We liked the word 'Horror' being placed in the top left corner because it allows readers to identify the magazines genre even if they are stacked across the shop shelves. We thought the colour scheme was quite nice and the colours used in the image worked really well. We particularly liked the way in which the cover-lines were displayed because it is original and still presented nicely.

90% of our target audience were drawn to the magazine because of the main image and the other 10% were drawn to the magazine because of the masthead. From our pre-production of the audience research we learnt that our target audience will notice the main image on a magazine front cover. we therefore ensure we incorporate that in our magazine and base from the feedback it was effective. From the pre-production audience research we also learnt colour scheme was important to our target market. Since we wanted continuity between our poster and magazine we carried on using red however, for the magazine we used grey instead of black. The grey and red colour scheme was effective as 95% of our target market was attracted to the front cover due to the colour scheme. 95% of our target market liked they layout of the magazine and 90% were willing to purchase the magazine between £2.00-£3.50 if they saw it in the shop.

Inspiration:
Our inspiration when creating our teaser trailer was carries as it had a similar narrative "a remaking of the classic horror tale about Carrie White, a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother, who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom." Also it was the same horror sub-genre as our trailer which is Psychological. We liked the suspense the sound created in the trailer hence tried to create a similar atmosphere.

The feedback we received from our target audience were very helpful. From the Pre-production audience research we found out that our target audience wanted to have captions instead of voice over in the trailer.Since we followed this convention we wanted to know if the captions we included in our teaser trailer was effective towards the narrative. 92% of our viewers thought including caption was effective towards the narrative as it gives the audience a brief explanation as to what will happen in the movie. However 8% of our viewers thought the trailer should have included voice over instead of captions as it would have helped add tension and suspense to the trailer if the main character as talking. However 92% of our viewers thought the sound was really effective towards creating suspense and they also said it helped with the narrative. On the other hand we though our viewers would easily figure out what horror sub-genre our trailer represent; unfortunately only 85% could identify our trailer was supernatural/psychological. The viewers could not identify the protagonist and antagonist in the trailer either because the pace of the trailer is too fast and the viewers do no get enough time analyse what is going on. However 95% of the viewers would go and watch the movie base from the teaser trailer.
Conclusion
Base from the feedback we received if we were to improve our three media products we will do the following:
For the poster we would change the image so its not a floating head ensure the rest of the body is visible. However it will have the same effect as our target market was attracted to the all red effect as it was something different. We would also make the name of the main cast smaller as it takes all the focus away from the image. Apart from the changes mentioned the poster will remain the same as our target market liked the layout and typography used on the poster.
The magazine on the other hand we would change the typography to a typography which convey horror. From the feedback we recieved our target market liked the layout, images and colour scheme used so therefore nothing else would change.
From the audience feedback the only thing we would change with the trailer is the pace because the narrative was unclear to the audience. If the pace was slower then the narrative would be clearer. Apart from that nothing else would change as our target audience liked the editing and sound as they felt it help build suspense and tension.
